Simplicity, concreteness and everyday gestures are the axes on which the Barcelona Poetry festival revolves, which takes place until May 22 and features the participation of poets such as Mireia Calafell, Miquel Desclot, Valentina Colonna, Anja Golob and Abdellatif Laâbi, among others. Barcelona Poetry, illustrated with images from the series “Relationships. Relationship of the body with natural elements in everyday actions” by Fina Miralles, wants people to stop and marvel at the things they think they have already learned: because in repetition and rediscovering lies the game and enjoyment of poetry.

In this edition, the festival proposes to open the possibilities of verse and enjoy it both in the festival’s usual spaces and in streets and squares.
