The Mossos d’Esquadra investigate the violent death of a woman in the Barcelona municipality of Esparreguera (Barcelona). The woman was located on Sunday night by a neighbor, badly injured on a shoulder of the local road and alerted 112. At first the hypothesis of a traffic accident was suggested, but the woman, who died despite the maneuvers of the emergency medical services, he had multiple stab wounds, incompatible with the traffic accident.
The neighbor alerted 112 a few minutes before nine at night and the first to go to the scene were the municipal police of Esparreguera. The witness claimed to have seen a car leave the scene.
The homicide group of the southern metropolitan police region of the Mossos d’Esquadra has opened an investigation to determine the causes. The case is under secrecy.
