There was a deer in the fences that have been put up to keep wild boar out of Denmark.

– You can see on the ground that it has fought for a long time to get free, because it has scraped in the ground.

– It is an ugly sight, when you come as a hunter. I know that we also beats the animals to death, but it has to be in the right way, says Kenneth Nielsen.

Vildsvinehegnet were set up to keep the wild boar from Germany out of Denmark, because it will prevent african swine fever from spreading to the Danish standards.

– It is a national decision that it should be there – and it must also, of course – but it should not go beyond the animals.

He often goes hunting in the field, and it is not the first time he sees an animal stuck in the fence.

– It is almost every time we are on the hunt, to which hangs a phase or a second bird in the fence, he says.

There are also several places along the fence where you can see the dents, which is probably derived from the deer, who is trying to take the jump over the fence.

– it is several places, but the course gets changed regularly. I think we have seen it at least five times that there are bumps.

– You can simply see more of the places that they hit the fence. They simply can not get over, as they claim, they can, says Kenneth Nielsen.

Kenneth Nielsen have an understanding that something must be done to the african swine fever does not come to Denmark, but he does not believe that it has been done in the right way.

– I can see that we need to do something for the Danish pig producers, but it should not go beyond the other animals, he says.
