The Civil Guard has identified and arrested the alleged perpetrator of the death by firearm of a young man of Moroccan origin on the beach in the town of Balerma, in El Ejido (Almería).

Sources from the Government Sub-delegation have indicated that the events took place during the night of August 23, as well as that the Judicial Police team has instructed the proceedings of the case on which the summary secrecy weighs by order of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of El Ejido.

The investigation is still open to clarify the causes of this event and among them, the hypothesis is being considered that both, victim and aggressor, were involved in some drug trafficking network.

According to the newspaper La Voz de Almería, the events occurred around 10:30 p.m. and it was the alleged perpetrator of the homicide who turned himself in at the Civil Guard barracks to confess to the crime, which made it possible to find the body. .
