The Namur Prosecutor’s Office, in Belgium, is investigating the death of a truck driver from Almoradí (Alicante) at the wheel of a truck belonging to the Alicante company Castillo Trans during the early hours of last Saturday after allegedly receiving the impact of a manhole cover from a bridge.
The accident occurred when he was traveling on the A15 highway between the Belgian provinces of Liege and Namur, as company sources have confirmed to EFE, who have indicated that the deceased is Gheroghe Tibil, 50 years old, of Romanian origin and resident in Almoradí.
