In the new installment of her podcast, Entre el Cielo y las Nubes, Laura Escanes has been more sincere than ever regarding her recent breakup with Risto Mejide. The influencer and the one who was her husband made their separation public last November. “Thank you for these seven years, three months and twenty-four days. They have not been perfect and, even so, or for that reason, they have surely been the best of my life,” the publicist wrote on social networks.
Four months later, Escanes has opened up about some aspects of his relationship with Mejide. In the eighth episode of her space on the Podimo platform, in which she interviews Jorge Lorenzo, the instagrammer has stated that at first she “was very happy, but there came a time when we were not happy.”
Regarding the age difference as a possible cause of the end of their relationship, Escanes has commented that this “is not a problem if you have the same vital moment”. During the conversation with the motorcyclist, whom she met during the filming of El Desafío, both were very open and confessed aspects of their personal lives.
“I used to believe it before and I wanted to be with him all my life,” Escanes commented. “If I have decided to marry and have a daughter with someone, it is because, for me, it was for life. But I believe less and less, I say ‘if it could not have been and we have had a daughter … I think it makes me ball ‘”added the influencer.
For his part, Lorenzo confessed that “I thought that while I was a pilot I was not going to fall in love again. I fell in love for the first time at 17 and it lasted a year and a half and I said: ‘with my lifestyle, racing… I want to enjoy everything and until I retire I don’t think it will happen’, and in 2015 I fell in love again”.
After the motorcyclist’s confession, Laura concludes that “at first it’s all passion and then it goes away and comes back, because I see 60-year-old couples and I see them in love.” As for their sudden friendship, Escanes confessed that at first “I didn’t like you, you give me a feeling of edge but when I met you I knew it was shyness”.
