This Saturday, the Junts group at Barcelona City Council demanded that the government of Mayor Jaume Collboni recover the Tramvia Blau once and for all. With a stall installed in Kennedy Square with old photographs and drawings, he mounted a protest action with neighborhood entities.

The spokesman for the Junts group, councilor Jordi Martí, recalled that the tram is an “icon” of the city and the neighborhoods of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi and demanded that the service circulate again on Tibidabo Avenue.

Martí called on Mayor Collboni to approve the project in question as soon as possible and take the first steps soon. Martí added that when they had an open dialogue with the PSC for a future coalition government, they put the Tramvia Blau recovery project on the table.

The spokesman for the Junts group also highlighted that these types of projects need “dialogue and consensus” and stressed that Junts is the first political party in the district. For all these reasons, he demanded that Mayor Collboni get to work so that results can be seen this term.
