The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested this Monday in Llívia (Girona) one of the most active drug dealers in the area. This is a 77-year-old man who is accused of a crime against public health for selling drugs in different parts of the town.

The investigation into this case began in March, after having indications of the presence of a person who allegedly trafficked drugs in the area of ??Raval and Estavar de Llívia streets.

After obtaining proof of the facts, different police devices were set up that made it possible to intercept three buyers who had purchased up to five doses of cocaine from him for self-consumption on different days. The agents also found out that the dealer also sold drugs at retail to consumers in the region around the Sant Guillem de Llívia park area.

The Mossos carried out the arrest of the trafficker in Llívia after a search at his home where a 21.6-gram piece of cocaine in the form of a rock, a precision scale, 3,950 euros in cash and various utensils for handling the drug were seized. and package it in small doses for retail sale.

The detainee will go to court this Tuesday at the Puigcerdà duty court. With this arrest, the Mossos deactivated a very active point of sale of drugs in the region.
