A fishing boat has found the body of a person in the waters of Dénia that could correspond to a migrant who was traveling in a boat that sank last March, as reported by the Civil Guard.
The discovery of the body, of which no further details have been specified, occurred this Tuesday and the Civil Guard received the notice at 2:40 p.m.
The fishing boat transferred the body to the port and once there the Civil Guard has taken charge of the corpse, which in principle could be that of an immigrant from a boat that sank in March.
On March 24, two bodies appeared in the nets of a fishing boat that was fishing in the same area. Since then, on the coast between Dénia and Xàbia, up to nine bodies have been appearing one by one, which could all come from the same shipwreck, although so far only four have been identified.
