The Civil Guard has seized 538 counterfeit items valued at 427,473 euros in Blanes, in La Selva (Girona). The products that have been seized are bags, perfumes, colognes and other clothing.
The operation was carried out on Monday at the fabric market that takes place every week on Paseo del Mar.
The Civil Guard began the operation following suspicions at some stalls in the weekly market, where a proliferation of counterfeit products had recently been detected.
From there, the Civil Guard and the Blanes Local Police coordinated to carry out the operation against counterfeit products at five market stops.
