The american man David Datuna set Saturday afternoon in the teeth of one of the guaranteed most expensive bananas in the world. It happened at the art museum Art Basel in Miami Beach in the UNITED states, where David Datuna peeled the banana down from the wall and ate it.

Banana’s who of the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan is sold to a French collector for the whole of 800.000 crowns, was in last week with the gaffa-tape hung on the wall in the art museum as a part of an international exhibition. Banana-the work of art has, in fact, the title ‘Comedian’.

In a video on Instagram explaining, David Datuna, who even describes himself as an artist, to the banana tastes pretty good. For the feature he writes: ‘the Art of performance…..hungry artist.’

There are, then, talking about an artist who eats another artist’s banana.

Lucien Terras, who is the director of museumrelationer for the international Galerie Perrotin, which has branches in any of the world’s largest cities, to the Miami Herald explained the following about the banana vandalism.

– He has in no way destroyed the work of art. It is the banana, which is the idea behind the artwork. And it is supposed that the banana still continuously need to be replaced, explains Lucien Terras.
