The young Nacho Vidal had the qualities to achieve his youthful dream of becoming an international porn star. “He had security, a lot of desire, he was handsome, beautiful eyes and a crazy will to succeed”, remembers Juani de Lucía, who continues at the head of the Bagdad room in Barcelona, ??founded with her husband – now dead – around 1975.
Vidal also had a monumental cicada, worthy of the prose of Camilo José Cela, Nobel Prize in Literature, and the best work tools.
The series Nacho (Atresplayer Premium) evokes, in the Barcelona of the transition, the beginnings of the actor, who presented himself one fine day at the casting – they continue to be made, there is no shortage of vocations, assures Juani de Lucía–, by the hand of his girlfriend, Sara Bernat.
Or not at all It is a relic of the debauched Parallel and the changes and what was understood as longings for freedom, when the city of Barcelona was bustling and word of mouth spread the feats of the cast of Baghdad, inspired by the model of the halls of Hamburg.
Everything was going well for a 22-year-old ready to be admired, except for stage fright. Baghdad is not the Santiago Bernabéu stadium but it is also impressive. The audience surrounds the stage, scrutinizes, drinks, laughs and connects – or not – with actors who follow one another and cannot resort to pretending. It wasn’t enough to have a huge penis or curves. They had to become the masters of the stage.
One, two, three… Up to fifteen days – at the rate of three daily shows -, Nacho Vidal had a frenzy when he began to eat the world in his own way. ” Buf, he was angry, he came back from the stage very upset – recalls Juani de Lucía, played on screen by La Terremoto de Alcorcón. Eight chapters. Based on real events. Nacho Vidal is played – taken from a close-up of Nacho’s male member himself, a parodic self-homage – by the actor Martiño Rivas, while Andrés Velencoso plays Toni Ribas, the other rooster in the barnyard and porn star of the moment.
