Five young youtubers were fulfilling a viral challenge when the tragic accident occurred. They were driving a Lamborghini Urus SUV when they collided with a Smart on a street in a residential neighborhood in Rome. A mother was traveling in the car with her children who were on their way to the nursery. The vehicle in which the young people were traveling was traveling in the opposite lane at full speed.

The 29-year-old mother and her two children were seriously injured and were taken by ambulance to Grassi Hospital. The doctors could not save the life of the five-year-old boy, who died in the same hospital. His mother and his sister were admitted with a reserved prognosis.

The traffic police stopped the five young people from the jeep and confiscated all their mobile phones. On their phones they recorded themselves while driving and narrated how they were meeting the challenge. After investigating the profile of the detainees, it was discovered that they were part of a YouTube channel with 600,000 subscribers and millions of views on their videos.

The young people had been circulating through the streets of the city for two days. In previous videos uploaded to their channel they explained what this challenge consisted of: staying 50 hours straight in the luxury SUV. In the hours before the fatal accident, they had already uploaded some videos where they recounted everything they were doing every day.

Through their channel, ‘The bordeline’, they organize viral challenges with voting, paid clicks and various prizes. “We are not rich but we like to spend to entertain you! Everything we do is for you, the more support you give us, the more expensive and fun content we will bring, between challenges, challenges and jokes of all kinds we will try to make you laugh at all times.” This is how they explain it in the channel description.

The mayor of the city has offered his condolences to the family of the child through social networks and has expressed his desire that the police clarify everything that happened.
