Two people have suffered minor injuries after being involved in the collision between a passenger car and a chauffeur-driven transport vehicle (VTC) in the M-30 ring road tunnel as it passes through the Puente de Vallecas area.
It happened this Tuesday morning, when a car hit the VTC that was transporting a passenger from behind, as reported by Emergencies Madrid.
Both have been treated by Samur-Civil Protection health workers, who have determined that their minor injuries did not require hospital transfer and have discharged them on the spot.
For his part, the driver of the car has refused health care.
As a result of the accident, various elements of the road have been damaged, including several meters of the curb, two fire hydrants and water pipes.
The operators responsible for the maintenance of the M-30 have cut and marked the exterior road during the time they have removed the damaged elements, while the Municipal Police of Madrid has recorded the accident report.
Traffic on the M30 bypass in direction A-1 was reopened at around 8.30 am after the road workers removed the elements damaged as a result of the accident in which the car and the car were involved. VTC, and which has resulted in two minor injuries.
