Police in St. Louis are seeking information from the public regarding a fatal shooting incident that took place on Interstate 55 near Loughborough last Saturday night. The incident resulted in the tragic death of CBC High School student Colin Brown, who was struck by a stray bullet while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle driven by his father.

According to reports, the shooting occurred during a rolling gun fight in the opposite lanes of the interstate, with multiple shooters believed to be involved and wielding automatic weapons. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has indicated that they are in possession of new video footage related to the incident, which detectives are currently reviewing.

The shooting incident came to an end near Ballpark Village, close to Broadway and Walnut. Emergency responders provided a timeline of their actions following the incident, with EMS receiving the initial call at 10:36:38 p.m. A medic unit was dispatched about two minutes later, arriving at the staging location by 10:39:08 p.m. However, they had to wait for police to secure the scene before proceeding further. Police were able to secure the scene by 10:46:04 p.m., and the medic unit arrived on the scene at 10:52:50 p.m.
