There’s not any sign that anybody was at the driver’s seat.
Researchers in Texas said they’re looking to a fiery car accident, involving a Tesla automobile , that killed two guys.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday night at a city approximately 30 kilometers north of Houston and involved two men who had been inside a 2019 Tesla S, based on Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.
Among those victims was discovered at the front passenger seat and another at the backseat.
The victims, ages 59 and 69, that have never been identified, fell their wives off in a nearby house before that Saturday and informed them that they were planning to have a ride at the Tesla, Herman told ABC News.
Researchers stated that according to the evidence in the scene, it appears the car was moving very quickly as it lost control and gained over 100 feet off the street. The car then burst and firefighters spent hours and more than 30,000 gallons of water trying to float the flames,” Herman explained.
Researchers said that the battery from the automobile has been very flammable and made that the flame extremely tough to contain.
At some point, the firefighters needed to allow the fire burn itself out.
Researchers are now trying to obtain the information from the automobile and have achieved to Tesla and different national agencies as part of the investigation.
