Lights are an essential part of our lives, bringing joy and enchantment wherever they shine. In South Florida, two magical spots are currently open to illuminate your holiday season. Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden is hosting Night at the Garden, while Jungle Island presents a brand-new night show called Luminosa.
At Jungle Island, visitors can immerse themselves in a fairy tale-themed light festival featuring animated storybook pages, fluttering butterflies, and towering dragon lanterns. With over 56,000 bulb lights and 700,000 strips of LED lights, guests will be mesmerized by the dazzling display as soon as they enter the enchanting world created by Jungle Island.
Meanwhile, Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden is celebrating the sixth year of Night at the Garden with enchanted pathways, a fairy scavenger hunt, and talking fairies throughout the show. The illuminated trails at Fairchild will take you on a journey through a whimsical cave, a trippy galaxy, and a rainbow rainforest reminiscent of the movie “Avatar.” With over 3,000 lights, larger-than-life sculptures, and food trucks, Night at the Garden promises an unforgettable experience for families and friends.
Both events are open for a limited time, with Fairchild’s Night at the Garden running until January 12 and Jungle Island’s Luminosa ending on March 8. For more information and ticket purchases, visit Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden at 10901 Old Cutler Rd, Miami, FL 33156 or Jungle Island at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami, FL 33132. Don’t miss out on these magical light displays that will brighten up your holiday season!
