Barcelona and Wolfsburg meet this Saturday in the final of the Women’s Champions League, a match that will be played at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven (Netherlands). It will be the third consecutive final for the Catalans and the fourth in the last five years, thus confirming their European dominance. The goal: win their second continental title.

The azulgranas have reached a new final after beating Chelsea in the semifinals, in a tough tie that ended 2-1 on aggregate.

Barcelona recovers for this appointment its captain Alexia Putellas, who has recovered from her knee injury to play the final stretch of the season. The Catalan was also rediscovered with the goal a few weeks ago, scoring a goal in the league against Madrid Club de Fútbol.

The azulgranas will be accompanied by the culé fans. Some 8,000 culés fans will travel to Eindhoven to support the team led by Jonathan Giráldez. With a capacity for around 35,000 spectators, the PSV stadium where the match will be played will have approximately 23% of its capacity occupied by the culé fans, according to data provided by UEFA.

A broad representation of the Barça entity’s board of directors, headed by the president, Joan Laporta, will also travel to Eindhoven.

The final of the Women’s Champions League between Barcelona and Wolfsburg will be held this Saturday, June 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven (Netherlands). The meeting can be seen on television on RTVE’s La 1 and can also be followed live on the La Vanguardia website.
