MALMÖ (Ekstra Bladet): the national Team forsvarsgeneral, Henrik Møllgaard, did not hide the fact that the early exit from EM is the worst he has experienced in his landsholdskarriere.
– We are out, before the tournament begins. We have not started to play on the fun yet. But we weren’t there, since things had to be settled. We knew well that the first leg could be crucial.
– We can sit down and watch a lot of video of the error, which could have given us another tournament. It is, after all, just a goal here and there, but it is I almost don’t care. For what hurts, is that we dump as a team.
– I think we were ready before the tournament. We are playing quite alright against Iceland, but that we as a team can pull ourselves up again and instead be so distressing nervous in the match against Hungary, I do not understand. We just have not been aware of how much energy can be in the unity we have in the national team.
– Therefore we fell really deep against Hungary. There was not anyone who could help his partner by the side or even pull much. It is there, we dump as a team. We fail to help each other. I am also sorry on their own behalf. There were too many of the experienced, which could not help, and lift the team out of the problems.
– I can not understand, that we walk so easily in the pieces, just because we in terms of impact gets a bad start against Iceland in the first match.

We are a team that doesn’t look like it should. We are a team without energy and without courage, when we need it. It is alarming.

– I do not remember to have seen a team that was so scared through a whole match. We looked like someone who would preferably not be on the field. We have evidently been the pressure of the pressure, says Henrik Møllgaard.
Forsvarskollega René Toft was just as puzzled over the all-too-early exit.
– I am embarrassed that we are out already now. I will not hide from you. In my wildest imagination had I not reckoned with, that we should be out already now.
– Perhaps we could be ahead with the zero point. But it was the wildest scenario I could imagine. We stood and was out before we even had the game the last fight, says René Toft.
