The candidates of the main parties of the Valencian Community for the regional and municipal elections on May 28 dedicate this Saturday, a day of reflection, mainly to reunite with their families after fifteen frantic days of campaigning, with whom they will oxygenate before going to vote Sunday morning.
With regard to the candidates for the presidency of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig (PSPV) will make a tour of the Community visiting representatives and auditors of his party in Orihuela, Alicante, Vila Joiosa, Quart de Poblet, Almenara, Burriana, Vinaròs and Morella between 9 am and 8 pm; Carlos Mazón (PP) will run along the beach of San Juan, will go to the Central Market of Alicante with his mother and will be with his family; and Joan Baldovà (CompromÃs) will celebrate his granddaughter’s birthday.
The candidate for Unides Podem, Héctor Illueca, will be with his family, he will walk his dog and watch movies; the one from Ciudadanos, Mamen Peris, will walk with her children and play tennis if the weather allows it; and the one from Vox, Carlos Flores, will correct exams and install washing machines.
As for the candidates for mayor of Valencia, the mayor and candidate for re-election for CompromÃs, Joan Ribó, will walk along the beach and read; the socialist candidate, Sandra Gómez, will be with the family; and that of the PP, MarÃa José Catalá, will take the opportunity to rest in the final stretch of her pregnancy.
The Ciudadanos candidate, Fernando Giner, will celebrate their wedding anniversary with his wife, and the Vox candidate, Juanma Badenas, will walk and eat on the southern beaches of the city.
Regarding the candidates for mayor of Alicante, the mayor and PP candidate for re-election, Luis Barcala, will go hiking, marry a couple and be with the family; the socialist, Ana Barceló, will walk and visit the Museum of Contemporary Art (MACA); and the one from Ciudadanos, Adrián Santos, will go out by bike.
The mayor of CompromÃs, Rafa Mas, will be with proxies and with the family; the one from Unides Podem, Manolo Copé, has programmed a family day; and the mayor of Vox, Carmen Robledillo, will go to disconnect on the beach if it does not rain.
Of the candidates for mayor of Castelló who have explained what they will do on Saturday, the one from CompromÃs, Ignasi Garcia, will go to the hairdresser’s, have lunch with his team and go to the cinema; and that of the PP, Begoña Carrasco, will be with her daughter and will go to a children’s birthday party.
The Ciudadanos candidate, Eduardo del Pozo, will go for a run and go to a communion, and the Vox candidate, Antonio Ortolá, wants to take the first dip of the season on the beach.
The long electoral day on Sunday will begin with the voting of the candidates, which will take place in the early hours: the earliest riser will be Ximo Puig, at 9 at the Morella Tourism Center (Castellón), who will be followed half an hour later by of the PP, Carlos Mazón, at the La Condomina school in Alicante and that of Vox, Carlos Flores, at the San José de la Montaña School in Valencia.
At 10:30 a.m. the Unides Podem candidate, Héctor Illueca, will vote at the Salesianos school in Valencia; that of Ciudadanos, Mamen Peris, at Centro CÃvico Port Saplaya (Alboraia) at 10 a.m., and that of CompromÃs, Joan BaldovÃ, at the Cervantes de Sueca school (Valencia) at 11:30 a.m.
Of the candidates for mayor of Valencia, the mayor and CompromÃs candidate for re-election, Joan Ribó, will vote at 11:30 am at the Rodrigo Giorgeta Training Center; the vice mayor and socialist candidate, Sandra Gómez, at the Cavite de la Malvarrosa school at 10:30 am; and that of the PP, MarÃa José Catalá, at 11 at the IES San Vicente Ferrer.
The mayor of Ciudadanos, Fernando Giner, will vote at the German school at 10 a.m., and that of Vox, Juanma Badenas, at the Artisan Schools at 10:30 a.m.
In Alicante, the mayor and PP candidate for re-election, Luis Barcala, will vote at 11 am in the Central Market; Adrián Santos (Citizens) at the Educational Resources Center, at 11:30 a.m., and that of Vox, Carmen Robledillo, at 9:00 a.m. at the Gabriel Miró public school
The Socialist candidate for mayor, Ana Barceló, will exercise her right to vote at the Alicante Town Hall office at 10:30 am; that of CompromÃs, Rafa Mas, at 10:15 a.m. at the ADDA, and that of Unides Podem, Manolo Copé, at the Isla de Cuba social center at 9:30 a.m.
Regarding the candidates for mayor of Castelló, the PP candidate, Begoña Carrasco, will vote at 12 at the IES Vicent Sos Baynat; the one from CompromÃs, Ignasi Garcia, at 10 at IES Ribalta; that of UP, Marisol Barceló, at 12:30 at the Escuelas PÃas school; that of Cs, Eduardo del Pozo, at 10:30 in the Ribalta Institute, and that of Vox, Antonio Ortolá, at 10 in the 4 corners Building
To follow the count on election night, most of the regional candidates have chosen their headquarters in Valencia, such as the PSPV, the PP, CompromÃs and Ciudadanos, while Unides Podem will be at the Center Octubre and Vox will be at the Hospes Porta de la Mar hotel.
