It cost a 51-year-old man to nine years behind bars, when he brutally beat two little boys down in a supermarket in California.

The random assault happened in supermarkedskæden Target, where the two boys standing and looking at some product on a shelf in the elektronikafdelingen. It shows a video of the incident from august of the surveillance in the supermarket.

In the video you see two boys, one five years and one of 11 years. The 11-year-old stands and test a computer game. Behind comes the offender, the 51-year-old Jeff Hardcastle, out of the blue and strikes the boy from behind.

Then he goes on towards the five-year-old, who stands and rows for an item on a shelf. With a fist hitting the 51-year-old the unsuspecting boy in the face, which flies in the floor. The offender continues walking down the hallway in the supermarket.

‘It’s some of the most disturbing, we have long seen’, told the local police about the incident, according to VG.

It is unknown whether it is the 11-year-old or a third person which comes five to the rescue and lift him away from the hallway.

the Offender accepted the verdict on the assault and greater bodily harm on a minor. In addition, he acknowledged also guilty of having committed a violent robbery in 2008.

Neither of the two children received serious injuries from the attack.
