How has it been to make ’The big experiment’?
– It has been unmanageable funny. My role as professor Primus is the pure mutual. He is shrill crazy and totally erratic, while he also is extremely mean to his assistant. We are a little over tegneserieuniverset, and there’s almost nothing that can be too much. It is rare that one gets to play with it as an actor. It has really been fun to make.
– Why you said yes to the role?
– I think that was a good idea behind the whole society. The experiments, which the children in the society must solve, for example, is scientific. So the series is also educational and stimulating for the children’s imagination. But I said, first and foremost, yes, because of its role as professor Primus.
– there Is something special about making an advent calendar? You have even made four: ’Christmas in Juleland’, ’Olsenbandens first coup’, ’Christmas in Valhalla’ and ’time travel’.
– It depends on how good the substance is. Otherwise it is not more special than so many other things.
– How prepared are you for the role?
– It takes place as everything else plays. There were quite many lines, and we had a short time to get the 24 title in the box. So it required a lot of preparation at home to sit and learn, learn and learn.
– ’The great experiment’ runs on the third season – why do you think it will be taken as well?
– I hope of course that it has a great entertainment value. And then I think at the same time, the experiments also do something. The children will get an insight into how to make oxygen, or how to regulate the acidity in the water. They get some learning in, and it certainly has a meaning.

– What should you make for christmas?
I have always juleplaner before christmas day, occurring: my julekoncerter, running on 24. year. In the year we make 21 to be spread over a number of churches around the country. We’re trying to create a really good atmosphere with well-known songs and hymns, so that people hopefully goes from the concert with a long-lasting christmas spirit.
– What will you do afterwards?
– I will be doing a performance at Folketeatret. It is together with Peter Schrøder, and a project we wanted for a long time. It’s called ’2 on trip’ and has never been played in Denmark before. It is both funny, very poetic and beautiful. And a little freaky. So it goes throughout the spring.
