The city of San Diego will have some closures for the Thanksgiving holiday. Here is a list of what will be closed:

– All city administrative offices
– The Office of the City Clerk
– Curbside trash, recyclables, and organic waste collection
– Miramar Landfill, Greenery, Recycling Center, Mattress Collection Site, and Container Sales
– Street sweeping
– City libraries
– Swimming pools and recreation centers
– Public buildings in Balboa Park
– The Personnel Department’s testing and background/fingerprinting offices
– City reservoirs
– Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center
– Parks and Recreation Department offices
– Tecolote Nature Center
– Development Services Department permitting services
– Your Safe Place – A Family Justice Center

However, some places will remain open:

– Mission Trails Regional Park
– Chollas Lake
– Tecolote Canyon Natural Park
– Golf courses operated by the city
– City skate parks and plazas
– Dog off-leash areas
– San Diego Police and San Diego Fire-Rescue emergency crews

In addition, parking meters and time restrictions on streets within San Diego, yellow zones, and posted street sweeping routes will not be enforced. Other parking violations will still be enforced.
