FCK Copenhagen has drawn scottish Celtic in 1/16-finals of the Europa League.

– I think it was a fine draw for us, and we have a fair chance to go further, says manager Stale Solbakken.

– It is a team that is interesting purely tilskuermæssigt, and as we have had some hard, compete against. I estimate the chances as 50/50, so it is as I said, a fine opponent to get.

The tradition-rich teams won quite surprising their group in front of, among other things, Lazio, completely failed further advancement. The scots won both meetings against the club of Rome, which was highly essential for the Glasgow crew played themselves ahead on aggregate.

the Profiles are many of the biggest profiles in the squad, but in the european context, this has mainly been the scottish midfielder Ryan Christie, who has made a positive noticed. The offensive edge, that can also cover the striker-square, has scored three goals in the group stage, making him the Celtics top scorer. Along with James Forrest, occupying the opposite edge – also on the national team – it can be a difficult duo for FCK to curb.

FCK met them back in 2006, when they were in the same Champions League group. Won the scots, with Thomas Gravesen in the team 1-0 at home, while it was for a FCK win 3-1 at home in the Park.
