Soon it would be over with a blue plastic-fütter in the aarhus swimming pools.

Aarhus Municipality has chosen to eliminate the blue plastic-fütter in an effort to reduce the use of engangsplastik.

Alone in 2019 was thrown 152.000 blue plastic-fütter out in skaldespanden in the aarhus swimming pools, even though they had only been used once.


It has got the municipality to respond, and therefore, taking the now fat in an attempt to protect the environment.

– We have to focus on the environment. The blue shoe covers of the plastic is a good example of engangsplastik, which we can well do without, says the cultural alderman for Culture and Citizens ‘ services, Rabih Azad-Ahmad, in a press release, according to TV2 Østjylland.

Already from the 1. February 2020 there will no longer be possible to find the blue plastic-fütter in svømmehallerne in Aarhus Municipality. Instead, guests can make use of flip flops.
