A three-vehicle crash occurred in Pembroke Pines, involving a Fire Rescue truck that blocked the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road. The incident took place as the fire truck was responding to a call on Friday afternoon and was struck by another vehicle. The collision caused the fire truck to veer off the roadway and come to a stop in a grassy area.
Officials reported that a firefighter and the driver of the vehicle that hit the truck were taken to a hospital in stable condition. In addition to the injuries, Florida Power & Light crews were called to the scene to address traffic signals that were not functioning properly due to the crash.
