Nearly 400 people were on Saturday injured during the civil unrest in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, writes AFP.

It makes the street fighting between anti-government protesters and police for the most bloody during the country’s prolonged crisis.

First, it was otherwise stated that 220 people had been injured during the violent clashes, but now the figure has been revised up to nearly 400, reports the AFP.

Red Cross and civil defense informs that at least 377 people on Saturday were taken for treatments in hospitals or received first aid on the spot.

New demonstrations expected on Sunday.

During the big demonstrations there will be a requirement that the entire Lebanese political class to be removed from power. The activists call it ineffective. They believe that the current leadership is riddled with corruption.

Protesters called Saturday for a “the week” because of the crisis and the many unsuccessful efforts to have formed a functioning government.

The various political parties and groupings, agreed on 19. december to make higher education minister Hassan Diab to the new prime minister. But that can not be achieved consensus on the occupation of the other ministerial positions.

the world bank has warned that poverty can take badly to, so it will cover half of the population. Today it is a third of the population living in outright poverty.
