A tragedy has struck the college environment in New York city after only 18-year-old Tessa Majors have been found murdered in Morningside Park.

The young woman was a sophomore at Barnard College. She was found Wednesday evening by a security guard, who was at the entrance to the park.

According to police, there were several knife wounds in the woman’s face and body.

A source from the police stated that witnesses saw a group of people escape from the place where the body was found.

A message to the other students at the school shows that you suspect a man, who possibly wore a green jacket and mask.

the School has also stated that Tessa Majors had only just begun his life journey, and that her family was on the way to the city.

The young student was a member of a band, and she had just played its first concert in October.

‘This is an unthinkable tragedy, and it has shaken us in our hearts’, said the dean Sian Leah Beilock in a letter and emphasized that all students could get assistance if it should be necessary.

There is not yet made arrests in the case, but police believe that there is immediately talk about an armed robbery that ended in the most tragic way.
