A 48-year-old man died this Sunday as a result of a head-on collision between the taxi in which he was traveling as a passenger and a car on the M-11.
As reported by Madrid Emergencies, the accident occurred after 5:00 a.m. at kilometer 1,200 of the road, in the Madrid direction, when, for reasons being investigated by the Civil Guard, the taxi and a car, driven by an 18-year-old, have crashed head-on
Upon arrival, the SAMUR-Civil Protection health services confirmed the death of the taxi passenger, a 48-year-old man who suffered various injuries, including a very strong head injury.
They have also treated the taxi driver, who has been transferred to La Paz with severe chest trauma, and the driver of the car, an 18-year-old young man who has been transferred to the Ramón y Cajal for observation.
As a result of the great impact, the taxi has been raised on the guardrail of the highway and the Firefighters of the city have had to rescue the fatal victim, who had been trapped, and remove the vehicle.
