This July 3 arrives the first full moon of summer, which will be the supermoon of the Deer. It deals with the astronomical phenomenon in which the full moon gets closer to Earth. The result is that the natural satellite will appear larger and brighter.

As NASA has explained through a statement, it will be the first of the four consecutive supermoons in 2023. It will be visible from anywhere on the planet, but it is estimated that the phenomenon will begin in the Iberian Peninsula at 1:38 p.m. Monday.

To see the astronomical spectacle, it is recommended to go to areas without light pollution or physical obstacles such as buildings. With the help of a telescope, the moon can be seen in full detail.

Tribes in the US and Canada named the first full moon in July the Deer Moon because it coincides with the time when male deer shed their antlers, although it may also receive other nicknames.
