The York Regional Police homicide unit is investigating after a man was found stabbed at the scene of a car crash in Richmond Hill.
Police say they responded to a call for a single vehicle collision at Leslie St. and Elgin Mills Rd. at 9:30 p.m. Monday night.
Upon arrival, they found a man with stab wounds. Paramedics rushed him to hospital where died of his injuries.
The area around the crash has been shut down for the investigation.
Police were unable to provide more details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
