Joshua Stockman is accused of hitting Marrero with his car the night of Feb. 21 while speeding north in the 400 block of North Sixth Street. Police said Marrero was crossing the street at the time.
Stockman failed to stop, drove around the victim and kept going, according to police. Officers found the car abandoned about a half-block from the crash scene and Stockman allegedly had run off.
Stockman, of South Whitehall Township, is free on 10 percent of $50,000 bail in the case.
