The Barcelona-Vallès line of Ferrocarils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) will be affected by the renovation of the Muntaner and Les Tres Torres stations from August 12 to 20. The works will imply the closure of the Sant Gervasi, Muntaner, La Bonanova and Les Tres Torres stations. Alternative buses will transport users between Gràcia and Sarrià along Via Augusta.

Users of the trains that run between Gràcia and Plaza Catalunya must check the timetable changes at the stations or on the website www.fgc.cat. Lines S1 to Terrassa and S2 to Sabadell that run through Sarrià station will maintain the usual schedules, as will lines L7 and L12.

The planned works are aimed at replacing 640 meters of tracks with new concrete slabs in the tunnel sections between Muntaner and Les Tres Torres. The works are part of the track renewal project between Plaza Catalunya and Sarrià, which is already underway.

Due to previous works, some streets in the area will be affected. The sidewalks of Via Augusta at the intersection of Dr. Roux and Roser streets, at the intersection with the Ronda General Miter, near Vallmajor and near the Muntaner station, will only be open for pedestrian crossing from this week and for two months. Likewise, from August 8 to 27, a lane will be cut in the section of Via Augusta between Vallmajor and Santaló, moving the bus stop to Calvet street.
