Although the earthquake has been felt in several municipalities in the area, such as Zahara and El Bosque, no personal or material damage has been reported.

This has been confirmed by the National Geographic Institute (IGN), from where it is reported that between 3:24 a.m. and 06:42 a.m., up to 7 more movements have been recorded with an epicenter in Algodonales and with an intensity between 1.7 and 2 degrees.

The IGN has also reported that two other earthquakes, to a lesser degree, have also been felt in El Gastor (Cádiz), with an intensity of 1.6 degrees, and in Valle de Abdalajín (Málaga), with a record of 1.7 degrees on the Richter scale.
