Montana Jordan and Emily Osment have their own series underway: they will be the protagonists of Georgie
“Prepared to cry,” said Osment, who before joining Young Sheldon as a recurring actress in the fifth season was already known for leading roles in series such as Hannah Montana, A Chef at Home or The Kominsky Method. She agrees with Jordan when giving her advice for the episode that will air on May 16 in the United States: “Have the tissues ready.”
The episode is expected to feature members of the main cast of Young Sheldon, in addition to Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik, who will reprise the roles of Sheldon Cooper (adult) and Amy Farrah Fowler and of whom images on the set have already been published filming.
They are not the only actors to warn about how exciting this final stretch will be. Amy Reisenbach, the president of the CBS channel that broadcasts the series, acknowledged that she had seen “three of the four remaining episodes” and that she could say that they were “tremendous,” “emotional” and “funny.”
And, waiting to confirm if Iain Armitage will participate as a recurring or guest actor in Georgie
“This is me, 8 years old, preparing to shoot the first scene I did as Young Sheldon. Melissa Peterman recently asked me what she would say to the younger version of myself if she could go back. Maybe she wouldn’t say anything to him and let life unfold as it should, but I think he would be very surprised and happy to see where we are now,” she said.
“I don’t think this kid could imagine what it would feel like to film our last scene so many years later. Thank you, amazing team, past and present, and to all of you who have been there all this time. I love you very much,” he concluded.
