More than 25 years have passed since the first book in the Harry Potter saga, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, was published, and more than 20 since the first film was released. Despite the time that has passed, magic is still very much alive among the Potterheads, the fans of the world that J.K Rowling created. Harry, Ron and Hermione, incarnated by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, became the best friends of all the followers during their time at Hogwarts for seven years in which they lived through everything, in addition to coming face to face with the death on more than one occasion (Harry suffered it every year).

On July 15, 2011, the last film in the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, was released and not only fans but also the protagonists cried at the premiere of the film. Radcliffe, Grint and Watson were very close and excited that day when the mythical trio said goodbye to this adventure.

From then until now we have seen the main protagonists face new professional challenges. Radcliffe, for example, has starred in films such as Amigos de Más, Víctor Frankenstein or La mujer de negro, as well as being part of successful productions such as Now You See Me 2 or the recently released The Lost City. He also has success on the small screen with the Miracle Workers series.

Watson began to distance himself from Hermione Granger with films like The Perks of Being Outcast or The Bling Ring. Among her filmography stand out Noah, Regression, The Circle, Little Women or Beauty and the Beast, among others. Grint finally made his stage debut in Mojo and won London Breakthrough of the Year at the WhatsOnStage Awards. He made his Broadway debut in It ’s Only a Play and earned another nomination in this case for Best New Broadway Actor at the NewNowNext Awards. Enemy of Man and Moonwalkers are some of the films in which the actor has been seen after closing the stage of the popular magical saga.

Many fans fantasize about what Harry, Hermione and Ron would be like over the years. And also what would they look like if these characters were represented for the manga universe. Generative AI apps like Stable Diffusion help us get an idea of ??what their faces would look like. La Vanguardia has used both to recreate what these three figures would look like.

In a first image of Harry Potter (main photo), we see the protagonist as an adult and with a detail that fans will not miss: the tie with the colors of Gryffindor, the house to which he belonged, although with a suit, nothing usual during movies. We also get a glimpse of his iconic round glasses, but there isn’t much room left for his scar.

Following the manga style, this AI highlights the character’s eyes a lot and does not put as much detail in the mouth, nose or other features.

This second portrait of Harry Potter differs quite a bit from the previous one. In this case, we do see the scar, but very far from his actual location. Also excessively long hair, although the eyes of the protagonist of the saga do stand out again.

The same pattern is repeated with the portrait of Hermione Granger: sober background, inconspicuous clothing (in black and white), large eyes, sharp face, and small nose and mouth. Ron’s image is also similar to that of his friend, and then a couple. The redhead of the saga is unmistakable due to his long hair, but nothing else stands out from the portrait created by the AI.

The portraits of these applications used by La Vanguardia differ quite a bit, especially if we compare the drawing of Harry Potter with the images of his adventure companions, more sober and less detailed.
