The glitter returns to TV3 starting tonight with the premiere of the second season of the music program that brought so much joy to the public channel last year, exceeding all the expectations that had been placed on it. Eufòria returns to Catalan television as the channel’s claim for a young audience, although it should be remembered that one of the great milestones of the musical contest was to unite a family profile on television, which nowadays is difficult to achieve on linear television.
The space returns to the TV3 grid with its first gala and some novelties in the faces that coexist in the talent. This is not the case of the presenters, who are still the actress Marta Torné and the singer Miki Núñez, who already demonstrated the chemistry that exists between them last year. The main change is found in the jury, with the incorporation of the until now coach Carol Rovira and that this year she will be together with the singers Elena Galdel and Lildami with the challenge of evaluating the contestants and finding the most complete and genuine artist in the edition.
Rovira will take the place of actor Marc Clotet, who this year will not be on the jury, and the new acting coach will be the well-known actress Paula Malia, who years ago was part of the group The Mamzelles. Another of the signings for this edition that begins today is the incorporation of the singer, composer and pianist Clara Luna as voice coach.
Daniel Anglès repeats as artistic director and will command the design of the performances, Jordi Cubino does so as head of musical production, and Albert Sala will return as choreographer after having been responsible for choosing the dance group for the program in the Eufòria dance space which aired a few weeks ago on the network with Carol Rovira as presenter.
Beyond the program team, there are other important news for this year’s edition. Significant changes have been made to the set, which will have a capacity for more than 250 people from the public for galas that will all be live and for which viewers will be able to vote through the application.
Eufòria will broadcast more content about the daily life of the contestants that allows to know the participants in more depth and see how they relate to each other. The program will continue to have a strong presence on networks with content for platforms such as TikTok or Instagram, and Nadine Romero and Carla Rubio will be responsible for the live shows on the Twitch platform. All this in a contest with 16 new participants who will fight to succeed Mariona Escoda, the first winner, and become the new 360 artist that the format yearns for and part of the new Catalan musical academy.
