15 years have passed since Carlos Baute and Marta Sánchez made history with one of the most memorable songs in our country: Hanging in your hands. The Venezuelan-Spanish and Sánchez form one of the most iconic duos of Spanish pop culture and gave us one of the favorite songs for the general public in karaoke rooms.

After many years, Marta Sánchez has been reunited with her good friend Carlos Baute in a somewhat peculiar setting: an airplane. Both artists shared a flight from the Iberia company and wanted to dedicate a song to all the passengers who were on the means of transport.

Carlos Baute has uploaded a video to his Instagram profile where you can see the impromptu performance of the musical duo: ”Something crazy happened today!!! We were on a plane and strong turbulence began, when the movement stopped, the stewardess (in a good way) told us: Why don’t you sing a song and that way people have a better time !!! Marta and I looked at each other and said: Why not?

You will see the rest in the video!!”, wrote the artist.

It is not very clear if the two met on board the plane or if they were taking a trip together, what is true is that the lyrics of the song never made so much sense: ”Perhaps it was not a coincidence to meet you. Maybe this was made by fate.”

“Since we are having turbulence and we are lucky to have two great artists on board, they are going to sing a song to liven up their trip,” the stewardess said to an incredulous group of passengers.

Some of those present began to take out their cell phones to record the iconic moment while others dedicated themselves to moving their arms humming one of the most iconic songs in the history of Spanish music.
