The British royal house is in one of its most complicated moments. Following the announcement of King Charles III’s cancer, this past Friday, March 22, Kate Middleton revealed through social media that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing abdominal surgery in January. Despite the initial shock, the Princess of Wales is already in the hands of doctors, receiving preventive chemotherapy treatment.

”In January I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time my condition was thought to be non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, subsequent tests discovered that there was cancer (…) Now I am in the early stages of that treatment,” Prince William’s wife revealed in the announcement video.

The official confirmation of the health problem of the Princess of Wales has helped to settle all the conspiracy theories, rumors and speculation that had been generated weeks ago about the figure and condition of Kate Middleton. At the moment, the exact date of the Princess of Wales’s return to public life is unknown, although many British media claimed that her return could occur next Easter Sunday or in mid-April.

BBC journalist Helen Wade recently claimed that the wife of the heir to the British throne was going to take time to recover. ”We don’t know when Kate will appear again, they have told us a space to recover. She has been undergoing preventive chemotherapy since the end of February. It is very possible that we will not see it until after the summer,” said the royal house expert.

In the midst of this complicated situation is Queen Camilla, who continues to focus on her public agenda, attending different royal engagements in many of the cities in the territory. Her last public appearance took place this Wednesday in Shrewsbury, west of England and very close to Wales. The wife of King Charles III was traveling to the city to visit the local farmers’ market, where she was able to see first-hand the support and affection that the royal family is receiving after the latest events.

Hundreds of people came to the local market to give the queen a warm welcome and to demonstrate their unconditional support for the entire royal family, but especially for Kate Middleton. And the mother-in-law of the Princess of Wales did not hesitate to collect several banners in support of Kate and which read ‘Send our love to Kate.’ In addition, Queen Camilla was engaged to convey all messages of support to Prince William’s wife.
