Police Complaint Filed Against Actress Digangana Suryavanshi Over Akshay Kumar’s Alleged Involvement in Zeenat Aman’s OTT Show Showstopper
In a shocking turn of events, the much-anticipated OTT show “Showstopper” starring veteran actress Zeenat Aman has found itself embroiled in controversy. The makers of the show have filed a police complaint against actress Digangana Suryavanshi, accusing her of cheating and criminal breach of trust.
According to the complaint, Suryavanshi allegedly falsely claimed to have secured Akshay Kumar and his company as presenters for the project. The deal purportedly involved a substantial sum of money, a luxury car for Suryavanshi, and payments to various individuals associated with Kumar. Despite assurances from Suryavanshi that Kumar was interested in the project, the meeting between the two parties never materialized.
Director Manish Harishankar, who is at the center of this controversy, has taken legal action against Suryavanshi and other individuals who allegedly tarnished the show’s reputation. Advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt, representing Harishankar, has confirmed the filing of the complaint and noted Suryavanshi’s attempts to extort money from the director.
Suryavanshi, known for her work in television and films, including her debut in “FryDay,” has yet to respond to these allegations. The unfolding drama surrounding “Showstopper” has left fans and industry insiders stunned, underscoring the complexities of show business and the challenges faced by filmmakers in bringing their projects to fruition.
