Model and businessman Jeff Thomas, 35, has been found dead under the balcony of his Miami home, according to TMZ, under unknown circumstances. The incident occurred on March 8, but it has not been until now that it has come to light and has been made public in the media.

The authorities went to the scene, after receiving an emergency call about the discovery of an alleged lifeless body in the vicinity of the urbanization where Thomas lived. There they preceded the removal of the body and the execution of the pertinent autopsy.

There is talk of a possible suicide but the authorities have not offered an official version of the event, so the investigation remains open. International business student and fashion model, Jeff Thomas developed a personal network throughout his life that included some of the most notable contemporary creators in the industry.

A world with which he had exclusive access to artist studios, art fairs, auction houses… an environment that led him to the creation of his own contemporary art consultancy called One Popsicle. There Thomas and his team were in charge of curating personalized collections of contemporary art around the preferences and unique personality of each client.

In his social networks he boasted of his fitness body, his travels around the world and his dog, a small bulldog of which he was very proud. Two days before the tragic date of his death, he published a photograph of his new tattoo, one that read the word Resilience (“resilience”).

Another of the messages that he wanted to convey to his followers, with a photograph of him in a swimming pool, had to do with mental health, as he specified in one of the hashtags that he included in the image. “A cold plunge a day, keeps the doctor away” – “a cold pitcher a day, keeps the doctor away” – he wrote. A possible sign that something in the model’s life was not going quite right.
