The star presenter of Mediaset, Jorge Javier Vázquez, dedicated a few days ago a public letter on his blog in the magazine Lecturas to the artists Alaska and Mario Vaquerizo. In said letter, Jorge Javier vented his feelings by recounting the sadness that it caused him to see people who have meant so much to the freedom of our country “companying with representatives of a party that opposes the achievement of rights and liberties.”
”Look Mario: it hurts my soul to see you eating you with kisses with a lady who stated in the microphones where Alaska collaborates that it was a drag that Pride week lasted a whole month, when precisely a large part of the people who adore you so much It belongs to the collective to you as to your wife,” he expressed visibly hurt.
The Polisentimental Geometry singer told the press at the Dial Awards gala that she fully respected Jorge Javier’s opinion, but that she did not agree at all: “It’s an opinion piece, it doesn’t affect me,” she explained.
Now, the singer of the Nancys Rubias has also answered the presenter after that incendiary letter that has brought so much queue in recent days: “What he said doesn’t hurt me, a fall hurts me, a loss of a being My dear, it hurts me that I’m going bald, but the opinions of others don’t have to hurt me, you just have to respect them,” he said.
For some time now, the artist couple has been in the spotlight after collaborating with public figures linked to a conservative ideology. Federico Jiménez Losantos, Isabel Díaz Ayuso… are some of the characters with whom both Alaska and Mario relate, causing great discomfort among their most progressive fans.
Jorge Javier’s letter comes after an advertising spot for the Community of Madrid starring Mario Vaquerizo was published, something that shows the closeness of the artist with the President of the Popular Party of the Community of Madrid.
