Barely two weeks have passed since the head of court number 6 in Barcelona issued a restraining order against the photojournalist Jordi Martín de Clara Chía, Gerard Piqué’s partner, after they both denounced him for harassment; and the photographer has already returned to the charge.
The president of Kosmos and the paparazzi have known each other for many years, and they know many of each other’s secrets. Martín also boasts of knowing more than one thing that the former soccer player would still have hidden from the public eye. This is how he reveals it in a new interview, where he is dedicated to once again uncovering the “real” Gerard Piqué: a classist, racist man who was unfaithful to Shakira on more than one occasion.
The photojournalist has sat down with the journalist Jorge Viera for his program The Red Phone, where he talks openly about that Piqué, allegedly still unknown to many.
“I have found out what Piqué has done in Barcelona. In 13 years I have found out many things that Piqué has done at night,” says the reporter, “Barcelona is a very compact city, very small, and you find out everything. And Piqué, really, I think he only has Colau, the mayoress, for smoking it. Piqué has been with half of Barcelona, ??Jorge”.
Martín assures that seeing what he saw, he thought a lot about Shakira. What’s more, he reveals that he even talked about it with Tonino Mebarak, the singer’s older brother, who called him to ask him what he knew. “How many infidelities has my sister suffered?” Shakira’s brother would have asked him on that occasion, a question to which it seems to be Martín did not answer.
What’s more, when asked if Piqué is racist, the paparazzi is resounding: yes. “Piqué said, in a contemptuous tone: there are South American women.”
“Piqué is racist, classist, xenophobic… He has had very ugly comments with her, because people close to her have told me,” he insists.
It is not the first time that the blaugrana receive accusations of racism. Just a few weeks ago he had to defend himself against criticism after launching the following expression live on Twitch: “Go gypsies, but go gypsies!”, Which his partner, Ibai Llanos, had to quickly stop.
“I’ve never talked about this in my life. I don’t think Clara can sue me for this. That’s what the Prosecutor told her, ‘why hasn’t a psychiatrist come to certify this?’ It is as if you make a report. Clara Chía said that Jordi Martín gave her suicidal thoughts. She is surreal, “the reporter lamented.
“[Piqué] He can’t stand me because I’ve always been closer to Shakira,” said the reporter after the trial, who has never had any problem with the Colombian singer or her entourage.
“I have always positioned myself with Shakira in the programs for Latin America in which I collaborate, particularly El gordo y la flaca (Univisión). I think that the anger comes from there,” he said in a recent interview with La Vanguardia, “But I want to leave something very clear: I only limit myself to doing my job and in this case it is photographing a very famous person on public roads who generates millions of headlines in the media, a person who arouses a lot of media interest”.
