Two former school staff members from Georgia, Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler, have been accused of engaging in inappropriate relationships with male students at the school district where they were employed. According to reports, the incidents occurred between October 2021 and January 2022. Greeson allegedly had sexual relations with two students during this time frame, while Shuler was reportedly intimate with another male student. The exact ages of the students involved have not been disclosed.
Greeson and Shuler, who were close friends and referred to themselves as “ride or die” on social media, now face first-degree charges of sexual contact by an employee. If convicted, they could each potentially receive up to 25 years in prison or a fine of up to $100,000. It has not been clarified whether they were classroom teachers at the school district or held different positions.
The relationship between Greeson and Shuler extends beyond the workplace, as they were both part of each other’s wedding parties. Greeson served as Shuler’s maid of honor in November 2022, shortly after her alleged involvement with a student. Shuler, in turn, was the maid of honor at Greeson’s wedding in Tennessee in October 2023.
Despite the serious allegations against them, Greeson and Shuler have continued to receive support from their respective spouses. Greeson’s husband posted a message on social media urging others not to judge, while Shuler’s marriage reportedly came to an end following the scandal.
Following their arrests, both individuals were processed at Gordon County Jail and later released on bond. The local school district, Calhoun City Schools, has not issued a statement regarding the situation.
