On June 23, Telecinco viewers said goodbye to one of the network’s most iconic formats: Sálvame, the magazine that occupied the afternoon time slot on the network for the last fourteen years. The news was a hard setback not only for his loyal fans, but also for all those who were part of the program’s history. This Friday, the last installment of the night version of the format was also broadcast: the Deluxe. In the last hours, Carlota Corredera, former director, wanted to dedicate a few words to the space and also opened up about her new professional project.

It was more than a year ago when Carlota moved away from television. After her departure from Sálvame, the Galician has been looking for new challenges for a while. “There is life after Save me,” said the journalist when the news of the end of the program was released. And so it is. Finally, Corredera has embarked on a new professional project, taking charge of the Superlatives podcast, in which she chats with different characters “to talk about us and what worries us, without complexes or filters.” Now, the communicator has not hesitated to show what this new challenge has meant to her and has also taken the opportunity to say goodbye to one of the programs that has most marked her professional career: Deluxe.

Carlota has now wanted to express through her social networks the importance of this new stage. “I really like this photo, it was taken on June 12, the day the first Superlatives program was recorded,” she wrote in relation to the photo she shared on her official Instagram profile. “Our smiles say it all: how much enthusiasm and affection in this project!”, She said.

The truth is that Carlota couldn’t be more excited about this new project. The truth is that in that first program she had the presence of several of her friends who have been part of the Sálvame universe, such as Belén Esteban, David Valldeperas and Raúl Prieto. Despite the fact that this project fills her with motivation, she could not avoid dedicating a few words to Deluxe, and wanted to lend her support to her colleagues, with whom she has a very good relationship.

“With the broadcast tonight of the last Deluxe, the final chapter of an exciting adventure that has lasted 14 years is written. Save me is already a television legend and at almost 49 I begin a new professional stage outside La Fábrica de la Tele, my house and my school since 2007”, began by saying the Galician.

“I’ll keep everything I’ve learned and above all I’ll stay with the people, with my television family. It’s never too late to start over, it’s never too late to start new flights. I look forward with enthusiasm and also with vertigo. The future is uncertain, but also exciting”, he said, referring to all those people who are going through a moment of uncertainty at work.

The presenter could not help but finish the message by remembering all those with whom she shared that stage of her life, in which she experienced both good and bad moments. “I hug my colleagues very strongly who today pick up the Deluxe canvas, a program that I have tattooed on my heart. Celebrate 14 years of luxury entertainment as you deserve. I love you,” Corredera sentenced through his social networks.
