Bárbara Rey is going through a bad time after the recent disciplinary expulsion of her son, Ángel Cristo Jr., in ‘Survivientes 2024’. In an emotional statement on the program ‘This is Life’, the famous star confessed that she was “having a very bad time” with this situation.

Makoke, who contacted Bárbara Rey through WhatsApp, transmitted his regret live: “It’s all very sad. He is my son and I love him very much. Please do not attack him too much, he is not well.” These words reflect the deep pain that the mother feels for the difficult situation that her son is going through.

The controversy began last Sunday when Ángel Cristo Jr. skipped the security perimeter of the reality show and entered unexplored areas of the island, putting his physical integrity at risk. Carlos Sobera explained during the broadcast of ‘Survivors: No Man’s Land’: “The contestant was missing for more than three hours in a very dangerous area. This caused a lot of distress to the organization and his colleagues until he was finally located in perfect condition.”

The incident was so serious that the Honduran Armed Forces had to intervene. Due to the violation of the rules and the risk generated, the program organization decided to immediately expel Ángel Cristo Jr. “Ángel Cristo has broken one of the basic main rules of ‘Survivors’, putting his safety and that of the team he is at risk. “He searched tirelessly for more than three hours,” Sobera reported bluntly.

In the program ‘This is life’, Bárbara Rey shared an emotional message with the public and collaborators, revealing her deep sadness upon learning of her son’s expulsion. The star openly expressed her pain and discomfort about this situation. In addition, she emphasized the concern she feels for Ángel Cristo Jr., asking for understanding and respect towards him, since she is her son and she loves him.

These words indicate Bárbara Rey’s consideration for her son, despite the difficulties they are going through in their relationship and the recent circumstances in the contest.
