RAC1 is once again the undisputed leading radio station in Catalonia. The Godó Group station starts its 16th consecutive year being the most listened to radio station with 864,000 daily listeners. The data from the General Media Study (EGM), released this Thursday, reveal that of the ten most listened to programs in Catalonia, five are from RAC1: El Món a RAC1, Versió RAC1, La Competència, Vostè primer and No ho sé.

RAC1 also leads the weekend mornings and afternoons. In total, it is the most listened to for 18 hours a day.

El món a RAC1 accumulates 701,000 listeners every morning and has the most listened to radio hour: from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. (381,000 listeners). The program hosted by Jordi Basté has more audience than all of Catalunya Ràdio, which has 626,000 listeners.

La Competència, with Òscar Andreu and Òscar Dalmau, and El Uênê primer, with Marc Giró, are once again leaders of midday in Catalonia, with 176,000 and 139,000 listeners. The RAC1 version of Toni Clapés consolidates its absolute leadership of the afternoons with 290,000 listeners; and the Added Time, the novelty of this season, which runs from 7 to 8 in the afternoon and is dedicated to sports, has 119,000 listeners. No ho sé, with Anna Vallhonesta, reaches 122,000 listeners. RAC1 midday, with Núria Travesa and Xavi Rocamora, has 78,000 listeners. And the Tu diras, with Aleix Parisé, 109,000.

On weekends, Vía lliure, with Xavi Bundó, is the leader on both Saturday and Sunday, with 483,000 and 484,000 listeners, respectively; the Superesports, with Xavi Puig, 184,000 and 224,000; The first pedra, with Noemí Polls, has 70,000 listeners on Saturdays and 37,000 on Sundays. And the Viatja bé, 28,000 on Saturdays. The ‘RAC1ncentrat’, 19,000 on Sundays.

As for RAC105, it stands at 190,000 listeners and has grown 9% compared to a year ago. The Matina Codina!, with Ernest Codina, has 109,000 listeners a day.
