In a display of emotional audacity that left the viewers of La Voz Kids with their mouths open, Sebastián Yatra gave a life lesson that no one will forget. During the last episode of the contest, the Colombian surprised everyone by confronting and advising the young Lennon, who had previously shown a conflictive attitude.
“When they went through the auditions and the second chance, things happened…”, Yatra began, commenting on the moments of tension that had arisen during Lennon’s first performances. The youngster had played on the emotions of the coaches, pretending to want to join David Bisbal’s team before finally settling on Yatra’s.
But it was a comment from Lennon that really caught the attention of the Colombian singer, since it was not very convenient considering that Yatra was bidding for him. “He told me, and I didn’t take it the wrong way: ‘I like you a lot, but I don’t like your music.'” A blow that, instead of taking it personally, Yatra turned it into an opportunity to teach.
The South American singer decided to speak directly to Lennon’s heart, with words as sincere as they were emotional: “What I have found is a child who is super calm, who listens, who has a good vibe. And if there are things with that attitude, I invite you to change it, because it will do you a lot of good”.
After giving this important advice to the rocker, Yatra confirmed that, despite everything, he had decided to stay with Lennon for the next phase, praising his voice, his personality and his courage.
