Renfe turns the Alvia Madrid-Bilbao into a sports train, with images captured by EFE, in black and white, of seven Spanish cyclists who have won the Tour de France and eleven others who have stood on the podium throughout the history of the Tour.

Thus, the winners of the Tour to which Renfe wants to pay tribute are: Federico Martín Bahamontes (1959, he also climbed to the second podium in 1963 and third in 1964), Luis Ocaña (1973), Pedro Delgado (1988), Miguel Induráin (1991 , 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995), Óscar Pereiro (2006), Carlos Sastre (2008) and Alberto Contador (2007 and 2009).

Those who got on the podium were: Bernardo Ruiz (third in 1952), José Pérez Francés (third in 1963), Julio Jiménez (second in 1967), José Manuel Fuente (third in 1973), Vicente López-Carril (third in 1974 ), Ángel Arroyo (second in 1983), Fernando Escartín (third in 1999), Joseba Beloki (third in 2000 and 2001 and second in 2002), Samuel Sánchez (second in 2010), Purito Rodríguez (third in 2013) and Alejandro Valverde (third in 2015).

This exhibition from the world of cycling, in addition to coinciding with the future start-up of AVE services in France, also coincides with the 120th anniversary of the birth of the Tour de France, which this year begins in Bilbao.

It is possible to enjoy this dynamic exhibition and life of its own, during the months of June and July, not only on the sections from Madrid to Bilbao but also from Madrid-Irún, Bilbao-Barcelona, ??Madrid-Huelva and Barcelona-Cádiz, other routes made by this same train.
