Spectacular image for La Vanguardia’s Readers’ Photos captured this afternoon with the two planes flying together over Gavà, in Baix Llobregat, from where the perspective and optical effect lead us to wonder: Will they collide?

Spotting is the observation and recording of aircraft. It is a practice so popular among photography lovers that they are called spotters.

And, in the surroundings of the Barcelona – El Prat airport, you can practice it. And Gavà is a town that, due to its proximity, offers the possibility of seeing scenes like the ones we see in this photograph.

In addition, being an airport with a lot of movement throughout the year, it is easy to enjoy landings and takeoffs of different aircraft models every few minutes.

In the surroundings of El Prat airport there are at least three places, three large viewpoints, prepared to enjoy this spectacle. Each of them allows you to see the planes in a different way.

The area of ??stone benches is the most typical location and where there are the most people. For its part, the Mirador del Camí de Valencia is accessible on foot from the bench area. Another area is the tubular viewpoint. The last place to closely observe aircraft activity is the Mirador de l’illa.
